Samsung Chromebook Pro – Changing the Idea of Chromebook Pro for the Tech Geeks
It is well-known that Samsung is one of the renowned and loved brands for hi-tech gadgets and electronics such as Refrigerator, phones and much more. And, its recent launch Chromebook Pro has taken things to another level.
Undoubtedly, this is an incredible and innovative device that has grabbed the attention of the tech world and tech geeks with its jaw-dropping features.
I think, it would be really a tough row to hoe to find a device that has similar features to Chromebook Pro (and with the same price tag). I am not saying that this is the only amazing products, but it justifies in terms of its price.

Design and Features
Samsung pays special attention towards the design and features and Chromebook Pro is the perfect example.
The Chromebook Pro is a all-black finish laptop with a Chrome logo is something you can’t miss. The Samsung logo and the silver hinges on the lid break the black theme and make it more appealing. The advantage Samsung offers is the 3:2 ratio of the touchscreen display. It makes it look like a tablet like and give room to Android apps to run in both portrait and landscape mode.
Speaking about the features, I must say the brand actually works on it. However, the 12.3-inch QHD display takes a little time to adjust, but it is okay and there is nothing to worry about it. The display is responsive and crisp. Weighing only 2.38 pounds, it is easy to carry and is extremely portable. This is a 2-in-1 convertible that comes with a stylus that tucks inside the chassis very neatly.
The Samsung Chromebook Pro is an Intel Core M3 processor that includes a 32 GB eMMC SSD for storage and a 4GB of LPDDR3 memory. To run the 4k display, you would require a $50 USB Type-C to HDMI adapter. It also houses a pen stylus and to remove it you just need to press on the top. For wireless connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 4.1 and 802.11 AC.
The touchpad and keyboard are little average, but that’s fine. The shape of the touchpad is rectangular and the keyboard has a standard Chrome OS layout. The touchpad is responsive which is smooth for clicking and gestures.
The Chromebook Pro works for 6 hours and 13 minutes. Although, this is the lowest score on a Chromebook and as it is PRO so, it’s not up to the mark.
The Chromebook Pro supports Google play store and Android apps. It currently works well on the Chrome OS 63.0.3239.140 installed. Samsung is known for additional features such as pen or a stylus. In the Chromebook Pro, you can also see a shortcut to the Chrome Operating System stylus tools. Now, this is what you can expect from an outstanding product. And, the battery life is also good.
All in all, Samsung Chromebook Pro offers high definition display, amazing battery that lasts all day. This super slim and lightweight Chromebook comes with a stylus and satisfying performance. The only aspects it lacks are mediocre speakers, touchpad and keyboard touch, and Android apps that don’t mesh with Chrome OS correctly.
